Jay Jax 1936

by R.A. Fedak

A deadly mystery and a 3,956-mile journey across America are all that stand between private investigator Jay Jax and the truth about a supposed suicide.

The Author: Robert Fedak

Following his discharge as a disabled Vietnam Marine Veteran, Robert Fedak worked as a long-haul truck driver. An injury from the war eventually forced him to stop, and he found himself at a crossroads. While working at the Colorado Food Stamp office, he contemplated robbing the office after seeing the large sums of money it collected. However, his wife discovered his plan and convinced him to write a book instead. Although he tried, he initially couldn’t find the motivation to write and returned to truck driving. After his injury worsened and he went through a divorce, he eventually remarried and settled in Pennsylvania. It was there that he rediscovered his love for classic detective films and was inspired to write Jay Jax 1936, a mystery novel featuring a WWI veteran. The book was a success, and Robert Fedak is now a published author.
